RPG Class Quiz
Knight
You stand at the very front with your shield raised, blocking the way so your companions can move ahead safely.
In many RPGs, the knight wears heavy armor, carries a shield and stands at the very front of the party. Knights are often portrayed as the backbone of the party's defense — taking the enemy's attacks so the companions behind them can act calmly.
When you're with a group, you tend to step forward naturally and take things on before anyone else runs into trouble. Your body moves before you've thought it over, and you volunteer for jobs like carrying the heavy things or being the first to try — for the sake of the people with you.
A shield is only useful when there are companions nearby to protect. Because you're at your strongest with others, when you're on your own you may not see anyone to protect, and wonder where to start. On a solo day, try getting one errand done as if it were for someone else, and you'll find your rhythm more easily.
Strengths
- You take on heavy loads and tiresome jobs without hesitating
- When a group is on the move, you can go first and clear a path
- When someone's in trouble, you step in front of them right away
Where you may stumble
- You take on other people's share, and your own errands are still waiting at night
- You end up stepping in even for someone who said, “Let me try it myself”
- Even when thinking first would be quicker, your hands are already moving
Sounds familiar, Knight?
- Walking down a sidewalk with friends, you somehow always end up on the street side
- When you see someone loaded down with bags, your hand is already out: “Let me take one”
- In a building you've never been in, you're the one opening the door and going in first
Where you shine
Heading somewhere new with a group, or being the first to step in when someone's in trouble. With someone standing in front, the others can walk behind with peace of mind, and the whole group falls into step more easily.
Tips for “Knight”
- Before taking something on, check once that your own hands are free
- Once a day, hand something off to someone else and walk at the back for a change
- Before you move, take just 10 seconds to think whether there's another way
Matches

Cleric — The Cleric is the one who patches up the Knight's wounds from behind. Even a Knight who takes on too much can lower the shield when the Cleric says, “Take a little rest.” You both like traveling with companions, so your walking pace matches.
Hero — The Hero also stands in front of the party. The Hero decides where to go; the Knight forces the way open and lets everyone through. Even side by side at the front, one works with the head and one with the body, so you never fight over the same post.
Mage — The Mage wants to sit quietly at the back and pull their thoughts together alone. When the Knight steps in with good intentions and takes over the planning, the Mage feels robbed of thinking time, and the Knight is puzzled that the help wasn't welcome — so you often end up scratching your heads at each other.
