Like cocoa powder worked into a paste and then thinned bit by bit, you make something special for one person.
Cocoa is a drink made from cacao beans. Pouring milk straight onto the powder tends to make lumps, so you first mix it into a paste with a little milk or hot water, then thin it out by adding the rest bit by bit. You don't spare the effort either, and take your time warming things up.
Cocoa is usually made one cup at a time, and the sweetness and strength can be adjusted to suit whoever is drinking it. Some people even float marshmallows on top. You like to picture each person's tastes and add a little something fun for them.
