Past-Life Job Quiz
Tailor
You carefully take the measurements of the one person in front of you, and make something that fits only them.
A tailor measures a customer, cuts and sews the cloth, and makes clothes that fit that person. Before clothes were mass-produced as they are today, making each garment by hand was the norm. Tailors kept a shop in town and served loyal customers for years.
If some memory of needle and thread lingers in you, you probably still have a habit of watching people closely and shaping something to suit them. Even with a gift, you want to add a touch with the wrapping or a note. You find more energy in putting effort into one person than in handing the same thing out to many.
Tailoring means meeting the customer again and again, talking, and checking the fit at each fitting before the garment is finished. You, too, are good at making things back and forth with the other person. But you may adjust so much for each person that you run out of hands.
