Vehicle Quiz
Streetcar
With lots of people on board, you roll along a set track through town, stopping often.
A streetcar, or tram, is an electric train that runs on tracks laid in the road. Its stops are close together and it makes frequent stops through town, so it's handy for quick trips nearby. In Japan, streetcars still run in a number of cities, including Hiroshima, Nagasaki and Hakodate.
These days there are more and more low-floor cars with fewer steps, making it easier to get on and off. Much like that, you move slowly along a set route, welcoming each person who gets on and seeing off each one who gets off. You blend naturally into the daily lives of lots of people.
A streetcar shares the road with other traffic, so when things back up ahead, it can't go on by itself. You're good at moving in step with others, but while you put other people's errands first, your own can get pushed back. Deciding on the stop where you want to get off ahead of time matters too.

Ferris Wheel — The Ferris Wheel, too, keeps slowly going around a set path. The Streetcar going back and forth through town and the Ferris Wheel turning the same circle are alike in valuing the same path without rushing, so you feel settled together.
Sailing Ship — The Sailing Ship also carries lots of people and moves slowly. For a Streetcar running on set tracks, the Sailing Ship's stories of choosing a route by the wind show the view beyond the usual path.
Helicopter — The Streetcar carries a crowd along set tracks, stopping often, while the Helicopter flies a few people wherever it fancies. When you try to get the same errand done together, you tend to split into one side that wants to wait as it goes and one side that wants to move now.
