Dinosaur Quiz
Gallimimus
Like a long-legged Gallimimus running lightly along, you sample a little of whatever catches your eye.
Gallimimus was a dinosaur that lived in what is now Mongolia during the Late Cretaceous. It was about 6 meters (20 feet) long, with a small head, a long neck and long hind legs, giving it a build rather like an ostrich. Its name means “chicken mimic.”
It had no teeth, just a beak. What it ate isn't clear: one theory says plants, another says small animals too, and another that it filtered tiny creatures out of the water. In the same way, rather than fixing on one target, you take in a little of whatever you come across.
Its long hind legs suggest it could run fast. It had no ornaments like horns or a sail; it ran with nothing but itself. Because you move around so freely, the things you find on your outings keep piling up at home. Lining them up now and then and choosing the ones you really love helps you stay light on your feet.

Pachycephalosaurus — Pachycephalosaurus also nimbly reaches for all kinds of things. It enjoys turning what Gallimimus finds into stories and creations, which gives those finds a next life.
Velociraptor — Velociraptor also moves fast, with nothing but itself. For Gallimimus, who dashes off with no destination in mind, being with Velociraptor and its clear targets means coming home without too many detours.
Spinosaurus — Spinosaurus raises its sail and patiently waits for one chance. Gallimimus dashes toward whatever catches its eye while Spinosaurus settles in to wait, so their sense of whether to move easily drifts apart, and each can find the other frustrating.
