Season Quiz compatibility chart
For each of the 4 seasons, two that are easy to be with and one that may clash. A clash does not mean either side is wrong — they simply value different things.
Spring
- Easy together Summer Summer also spreads outward. It takes the buds Spring puts out and grows them all the way to full leaf. When a starter teams up with someone who sees things through, ideas make it all the way to something real.
- Easy together Winter Winter also loves starting things. Spring takes what Winter quietly began alone and spreads it to people and places. You share the urge to begin, so you understand each other right away.
- May clash Autumn Autumn wants to finish what's in hand, slowly and inwardly. When Spring keeps bringing in new ideas, it can feel to Autumn like being pulled away from something that's just about to ripen.
Winter
- Easy together Autumn Autumn also spends time quietly, within. While Autumn finishes one thing, Winter is beside it starting the next. You both love quiet time, so being near each other isn't tiring.
- Easy together Spring Spring also loves starting things. Spring notices what Winter quietly started alone and brings people in. Just as a winter bud opens in spring, a solo beginning spreads outward.
- May clash Summer Summer wants to grow what's been started into something big, with lots of people. When Winter has only just started something alone and hears “Let's get more people!” and “Let's make it bigger!”, Winter, who wanted to keep going at its own pace, is likely to be thrown.
Summer
- Easy together Spring Spring is good at starting things. Summer takes the buds Spring puts out and grows them to their biggest form. Your roles follow on from each other, so you can move forward together without strain.
- Easy together Autumn Autumn also loves finishing. Autumn looks back alone on what Summer saw through with a crowd, and tidies up every last detail. What's left in your hands is a finish that Summer's energy alone wouldn't have produced.
- May clash Winter Winter likes to start what it has in mind quietly and alone. Summer's “Let's do it with everyone — and bigger!” can feel to Winter like dragging something it has only just quietly begun out into the open.
Autumn
- Easy together Summer Summer sees things through to the end with lots of people. Even something too big for Autumn to carry alone, Summer gathers people and carries it to the finish, leaving Autumn free to focus on the final details.
- Easy together Winter Winter also spends time quietly, within. Winter doesn't drag you out somewhere noisy; it lets each of you get absorbed in your own work, so being together takes no effort. By the time Autumn has finished, Winter has already started the next thing, so you never run out of things to talk about.
- May clash Spring Spring heads outward and wants to start one new thing after another. When Autumn is still tending its harvest and gets invited to “do this next,” it can feel rushed.
It is more fun once you know which one you are. 12 questions, about 2 minutes.
